The captivating Kono is crafted with chocolate coloured woven string creating a spherical shade with an open bottom - changing the light bulb is easy. Designed to fit straight onto an existing batten holder, the Kono is simple to install.

Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, you’ll receive an order confirmation e-mail from us. This is just an email to let you know your order has gone through and we’ve pre-authorised your credit card for the purchase.  
 
As soon as we receive your order we’ll set the wheels in motion to get your items to you as soon as possible. We’ll make sure your items are still in stock and available to be sent out to you within 5 business days. If, for any reason, your items are unavailable we’ll get in touch with you as soon as possible. 
 
Order Shipment:
If your order is in stock and the charges have been processed to you, your order will be shipped (dispatched) within five business days from the date of your order. Most orders will be dispatched within two business days. We always aim for as soon as humanly possible!
 
Once your new items are on their way to you we’ll send you an update to let you know. Whenever possible, we’ll send you tracking information and an estimated time of delivery.
 
If you don’t receive information about your delivery after a week of ordering, pop us an email with your order number.
 
Please note that shipping times can vary between products and shipping location. Estimated Arrival on product pages are estimates only as this estimate cannot factor in shipping location.  Please allow up to 15 business days to receive your order. Typically, most of our orders are received within 3-7 business days from your order. If you'd like more information about delivery to your address, please get in touch. We'll always keep you updated on your order, but feel free to contact us at any time if you'd like more information.  
 
Delivery of Goods:
Typically, deliveries need your signature, so please make sure you’re there for your delivery. If the delivery can not be made due to no one being available to sign for the delivery, re-delivery fees may apply. If you've selected "Standard Shipping - Authority To Leave" your items will be left in a safe place without a signature. Please note, this is done so at your own risk, once the items are delivered they are deemed as your responsibility. If you have any specific instructions on where to leave your items please add this to Order Notes box in your Shopping Cart, or simply email us once you've placed your order. 
 
Damages:
Please take the time inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, and if you do notice any damage please make note of it when signing for delivery. Please take photos if possible. 
 
In the unfortunate event that there are damages, please let us know immediately! Take some photos and send them over to us and we endeavour to send out replacement parts as soon as possible.

 

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. All original packaging must also be returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase or order number. 

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. 
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

If you wish to return an item, please email us with your order number and reason for wanting to return the item as soon as possible. You'll need to complete a Returns Form to include with your item when it is posted. 

Refunds

Please note a restocking fee of 15% of item price applies to all returns. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Please note we cannot refund any shipping fees. 


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. 

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@thelightinglounge.com.au.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@thelightinglounge.com.au

Shipping
To return your product, you should first email us to confirm the address to ship your product to.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers must ensure that the product(s) are adequately packaged in the original boxes and packaging to avoid damage during a return delivery. All costs regarding a return delivery are at the customer’s expense.


Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Return items are required to be shipped back to us via tracked delivery, and we recommend you purchase insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
